The TS-262 can be adapted to your future needs by providing two M.2 PCIe slots compatible with Qtier technology for automatic storage leveling and can be easily expanded to meet growing data needs. The TS-262 also supports Edge TPU, allowing you to easily organize photos based on QuMagie's face and objects.
Possibility to upgrade home network to 2.5GbE
Wi-Fi 6 and 5G networks are already becoming a new standard, so there is no reason why the home wired network would not benefit from efficiency. The TS-262 features one 2.5GbE RJ45 LAN port that supports existing CAT5e cables. If computers don't have 2.5GbE ports, you can use QNAP's 3.2 Gen 1 adapter on 5GbE (the QNA-UC5G1T model name) to use much higher speeds of 2.5GbE than the standard Gigabit Ethernet network. QNAP also offers inexpensive 2.5GbE switches and other adapters to make full use of the 2.5GbE connectivity capabilities of the TS-262.
